Swamp White Oak

The Swamp White Oak is a hardy slow growing oak. Despite the name, this oak does well in Colorado and does not require a great deal of water. These trees, while deciduous, tend to hold onto their leaves throughout the winter until the new leaves begin to emerge. Swamp White Oaks have very little pest and disease issues and are a great tree for this area.
